Update

Hi! We are still alive! I go through spurts of complete blog neglect, it's horrible... life just gets busy I guess! We are doing great, just working on the house and making a living! I am happy to report that Kyle loves his job! This makes me very happy to know that he is doing something that he loves. I'm grateful for a hardworking husband...even when he is not at work, he is always working on something, mostly our house. I appreciate it:)

We finally got new furniture in the front room, which is nice to have it all done. It's not completely decorated the way I want it yet....but it looks completely different from when we moved in! Kyle redid the walls, and everything...he did a great job!

Punxsutawney Phil Says...

Six more weeks of winter! DARN IT DARN IT DARN IT. Not like I expected anything else here in Utah, but I was just hopeful of an early spring.

I randomly remembered that it was Groundhog Day today, so not wanting to miss out on what the groundhog had to say I made a visit to the official site of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club http://www.groundhog.org/ where I found this that I would like to share with you all:

Phil's official forecast as read February 2nd, 2009 at sunrise at Gobbler's Knob:

Hear Ye Hear Ye
On Gobbler's Knob this glorious Groundhog Day, February 2nd, 2009
Punxsutawney Phil, Seer of Seers, Prognosticator of all Prognosticators
Awoke to the call of President Bill Cooper
And greeted his handlers, Ben Hughes and John Griffiths
After casting a joyful eye towards thousands of his faithful followers,
Phil proclaimed that his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers were World Champions one more time
And a bright sky above me
Showed my shadow beside me.
So 6 more weeks of winter it will be.

Gee. Thanks a lot Phil!!!....(And thank you Bill Murray for endearing me to this lovely holiday.) I just hope I don't wake up tomorrow to find it is the same bitter cold winter day (today). It may be a curse for my terrible attitude on winter.
