What a better way to spend memorial weekend than welcoming home our troops. Kyle's older brother, Jeff has spent the last year serving our country and we are so proud of him. Jeff spent his time working in a place called Camp Bucca Iraq,as a military policeman. Kyle was pretty excited as you can see from the cheesy picture, we all were. It was a really neat experience to see all 80 troops walk off the plane, one by one, all happy to be home, and grateful to live in such a blessed land. Everyone was waving flags and calling out their loved ones names, there was such a great spirit there. We heard all sorts of stories and experiences from Jeff when we picked him up and then ate at Sizzler, (Jeff's choice, apparently, he missed eating real food and especially shrimp.) We are happy he's home.

What?!?!?!? I haven't seen you in sooooo long. I did that math - it's been 14 years!!!! That feels like so long ago! It's so good to hear from you! You look so happy and it was so fun to look at all of your pictures. There's one of you pulling a face with your hoodie on and it cracked me up because you look excatly the way I remember you! You'll have to check my sister's blog and see how cute her little guys are - http://cody-ericafam.blogspot.com/
