Yes I realize that it is November with a few feet of snow outside and
I'm just blogging about summer. Just trying to catch up again. We had a great summer.
Weston will be 3 in just a couple of months. He keeps me busy with all of his energy and questions. His new favorite phrase is "Why mom?" after everything I say. He just started a tumbling class and he loves it. Wes continues to be a picky eater. I don't know if I'll ever be able to teach him the importance of consuming food. If it were up to him he would eat a pop tart for every single meal. He finally started sleeping in a big boy bed over the summer. He did great with the transition! Weston is funny, full of energy, stubborn, and loves his baby brother.
We went to a little farm at Thanksgiving Point, rode the ponies and went on a little ride pulled by the tractor. As noted in his expression he wasn't too thrilled about it.
We went on lots of walks,
spent some time in the mountains,
made smores,
and went fishing.
For the 4th of July we went to Logan and celebrated America and my Dad's birthday. He wanted to run 10 miles on his birthday so of course my family had to make it a big event. We had a family race with the theme of "Keeping up with the Old Man", with registration, t-shirts, water stop, and all!
We also spent some time four-wheeling in Fillmore. Our friends Katey and Logan came up from St. George for a ride.
We made lots of cookies,
and planted a couple trees in our backyard!
Overall a great summer!
