Blog Background Drama

So I change my blog background a lot. Frankly, I think 99% of the 'already made' backgrounds are ugly. Is this current one ugly??Be honest. I definitely don't like the frilly girly ones, and I hate the scrapbooky trendy ones. I just want a cool, different, simple one. I know what it is in my head but I can't seem to find it. I do this with a lot of things, not just the blog backgrounds. Clothes, purses, home decor, etc... I'm so picky. I know what I want in my head and when I don't find it I just give up and don't buy anything at all. Ugh. So indecisive. I so wish I wasn't "craft challenged" and "non-handy". Then I would make anything I wanted or even better just imagine it in my head and have it magically appear. Oh well, until then I'll be changing my background an annoyingly amount of times. Bye.

So Funny

I laughed my head off when I saw this commercial. How cute. Wes would totally pass that kid up on the cuteness though if he wore those:) I saw these diapers at Target the other day too, but resisted the temptation to buy them. Too expensive. Maybe I'll find a coupon somewhere.

A very fun visitor

Amy came up to stay with us for a few days. Weston just loves her and flirted with her the whole time. We had so much fun (and I didn't mind the extra help with Wes, thanks Amy:)

Wes hasn't really been too excited about swimming the few times we have been to the pool. He's more interested in staring at all the people. Funny kid.

Between the stroller and big green bag he entertained himself for a good 45 minutes.

Our Little Mover

Weston has been crawling for a while now, but lately he has been getting into everything. He likes to play with anything that isn't a toy and meant to be played with. Yesterday I left the room for a second and came back to find him like this...

Naps have become a nuisance to him ever since he has been able to move around. He wants nothing to do with sleeping during the day despite how tired he is. Lately I put him down when he is clearly tired, only to come in ten minutes later to find this. Talk about a power nap!

Women of Steel Sprint Tri

I did it! I completed a sprint triathlon on Saturday and I had so much fun. I definitely have room for lots of improvement but you gotta start somewhere:)

The swim wasn't as bad as I had imagined it and I came out at a decent time.

Here we are all lined up for the swim. I'm sort of towards the back. Gold stars if you can spot me....or maybe just my pink head.

Check out that awesome form......uh NOT!! Swimming skills need some serious work... I'm the one in the farthest lane and had just started. They had you weave in and out of the lanes.

Biking! This was by far my FAVORITE and best part. I finished 7th for my time in my age group!
